Raspberry Pi Simple Audio Player

Raspberry Pi Simple Audio Player (RPiSAP) is a very simple audio player application. Attach the power supply to the Raspberry Pi, songs or audio files will be played automatically. Press the switch to PAUSE or go to NEXT TRACK. Press the other switch to SHUTDOWN without damaging the file operation. Activities can be viewed on the LED or screen. Attach the USB drive to change and play another song. It is done automatically.

Raspberry Pi Simple Audio Player (RPiSAP) has been tested to work on Raspberry Pi 1A, 1B and Raspberry Pi 2.

Write the image to your SD or Micro SD at minimum size of 2Gb.

And you have to build a switch and LED connections follow the schematic diagram below.
Example connection on PCB. Left side switch GPIO17 for PAUSE/PLAY and right side switch GPIO22 for SHUTDOWN. LED GPIO24 for activity monitoring.

Connect the complete wiring to Raspberry Pi and you are ready to power on and listen to your music.

You can see the music info on your LCD screen by connecting it via HDMI or VGA output.

Copying data activity can be seen by LED light sequence and also displayed to HDMI or VGA output.

Copy your favourite music to USB drive that named RPiSAP then connect to Raspberry Pi. LED will blink two times meant USB named RPiSAP is detected. After copying completed, LED will blink three times. Remove USB drive and LED will blink four times then your music will be play automatically and repeat for all songs.

Push PAUSE/PLAY switch to pause and push back to continue play. Push PAUSE/PLAY switch more than three seconds and it will jump to next track.
Push SHUTDOWN switch to safely shutdown your system.
